Tue / October / 2017

It has just been a few months this year, since the launch of Abhishek Jalan’s AceJack Poker stable. The venture was started this March and created a lot of buzz surrounding it. This is the first live staking stable in the country that offers staking for Indian poker players, coaching as well as special sessions from domestic and international poker pros.

Jalan recently confirmed to a popular poker news site that PokerBaazi team pro, Vikram Kumar also known as ‘Lungi’ from PokerBaazi Team has joined him as partner for his venture AceJack. Vikram is a well-established member of the poker community who is especially known for his helpful attitude towards other players of the poker community. The community insiders believe Kumar’s attitude combined with Jalan’s passion for the sport will definitely make this collaboration a raging success.

Jalan credited another staking stable venturist Anup Palod for the idea and has exhibited confidence that the venture will not only do well for himself financially but also for the community by giving deserving players a chance to pursue their dreams of taking the sport up professionally.

Soon after the launch, Jalan announced the first team members of AceJack namely – Shravan Chhabria, Rishab Jain and Kartik Ved. After the six months that flew fast, a lot has changed at AceJack. Ved who had initially joined the team as a staked player is now tackling a management role in the company, who looks after the day-to-day operations of the business.
Moreover, their main focus has been in the staking game, they have also expanded to other areas in the poker sector. The team recently organized a cash game festival named Bajo Shove Festival at the IPA Poker club in Kolkata with Aditya ‘Bitti’ Agarwal and Palod as partners. The first edition ran and closed successfully in August, while the second chapter is going to begin on October 25 – 30 at the same time.

AceJack offers the standard staking deal to most selected players i.e. 50% of the profits along with the makeup. The players are selected after a thorough background check and the main focus is kept on the player’s goals as to why they are looking to get staking and how dedicated they are to the game and the goals they seek to achieve and the applicant’s level of skill.
